We are dispatching orders as usual. Our couriers have measures in place to enable contactless parcel collection from us and delivery to you and they continue to deliver on our behalf. We wish all our customers well at this difficult time for everyone.
Orders are currently being dispatched within 5 working days.
We send out established plants in at least 9x10cm pots, so they can go into the ground immediately or you can leave them until you are ready to plant them. Most orders are dispatched within 7 days, often sooner.
You should receive an automatic confirmation email when you place your order and you will be notified by email when your plants have been dispatched and the courier will email/text you on the delivery day to give you an estimated time of delivery. Please check your spam folder for messages from us.
Orders can be placed via the website for home delivery anywhere in the UK, but please check your postcode on the courier surcharges page if you live in a remote area of Scotland, an island or Northern Ireland. If your postcode is not listed, there is no surcharge.

There is a box on the checkout form to indicate a safe place for the parcel to be left by the driver. Please note that the safe place must be out of sight of the road. If we do not have details of a safe place, the parcel may need to be signed for.
For areas of the UK where couriers normally charge more, (such as Highlands and Islands etc.), there may unfortunately be a surcharge. You can view the price list from our courier here. Please order in the usual way for these areas and we will contact you to take the additional payment over the phone. N.B. If your order qualifies for free delivery, we will just ask you to pay the surcharge element.
NORTHERN IRELAND: Unfortunately, due to the new customs requirements with the EU and the knock-on effects for Northern Ireland, we are not currently sending plants to Northern Ireland. We hope that when things settle down it will become possible again, but now please do not place orders for delivery to NI.
We may be able to delivery locally at no charge - please enquire.
There is no delivery charge for Instant Gift Vouchers as these are delivered via email to the recipient.
Overseas: We regret that due to the limitations of the insurance that couriers carry, for now we are not offering overseas delivery.
We send potted plants, not plug plants!
Collection From The Nursery
You are welcome to collect your order and there is no charge for this option. We have ample space for social distancing and we arrange visits so that only one customer is at the nursery at any time. Payment can be made in advance by card payment on the day.
Select the 'Collect from nursery' option in the order form to avoid the postage charge and we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect your plants from our nursery site, just outside the market town of Buckingham. Alternatively you can email or phone your order.
We offer a 10% discount on orders that are collected. Enter code Collect15 in the coupon box to apply the discount. This discount is only valid on orders that we do not have to post.
The nursery is situated close to Stowe Landscape Gardens, Waddesdon Manor, Silverstone Racing Circuit and several other attractions, so why not plan a day out and collect your plants on the way home?
Collection From Plant Fairs
Each year we attend a number of shows and plant fairs and you are welcome to collect your order from one of these events at no charge.
Orders which contain pre-order plants will be dispatched when all of the plants are available.

While we make every effort to keep the website up-to-date with plant availability, it is impossible for stock levels to be 100% accurate, especially during busy times. We sell plants online, at the nursery and at plant fairs etc, so our stock levels are constantly changing. Please feel free to email your wishlist to check availability. If an item is unavailable and you have not chosen to accept substitutes during the checkout process, we will refund the relevant amount for the unavailable plant(s).
