In-the-Green Bulbs
In-the-green bulbs are available only in winter/early spring and are the best way to introduce many native flowers into the garden. They 'take' much easier than dry bulbs from a packet planted in autumn. In most cases you will have blooms within a few weeks from these plants.
In-the-green means that you receive bulbs which are shooting and/or are in leaf or flower. These need to be potted, or put in the ground, within a few days. In-the-green rhizomes may or may not be shooting but also need to be planted straight away.
