We send out plants established in pots, so they can go into the ground immediately or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant them. We do NOT send tiny plug plants. Most orders are dispatched within 5-10 days, often sooner, and we deliver all year round, except for a short break in December.
You will receive an automatic confirmation email when you place your order and you will be notified by email when your plants have been dispatched. The courier will email/text you on the delivery day to give you an estimated time of delivery. Please check your spam folder for messages from us.
Delivery

We use reputable, overnight couriers. Occasionally we may use Royal Mail for locations in remote areas. We do NOT use Hermes/Evri.
Our plants are packaged securely in custom-made packaging, within strong cardboard boxes, which are made to our specification. We cannot ship to Northern Ireland (you can read why here), or Europe. You can see how we pack and dispatch our plants here.

For areas of the UK where couriers normally charge more, (such as Remote Highlands and Islands etc.), there may unfortunately be a surcharge. We try to avoid it where we can and for large orders we absorb the cost. For very small orders we can use Royal Mail, who do not charge extra for these areas. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your particular location/order.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept orders for delivery locations with restricted access (for example which require the delivery driver to make a phone call to be let in etc.).
We may be able to deliver locally at no charge - please enquire.
There is no delivery charge for Instant Gift Vouchers as these are delivered via email to the recipient.
We send potted plants, not plug plants!
Collections
Collection From The Nursery
You are welcome to collect your order from our nursery in Buckingham and there is no charge for this option. Payment can be made in advance or by card payment on the day.
Complete an online order in the usual way and select the 'I want to collect from the nursery' option in the delivery options (after you input your address), to avoid the postage charge. Alternatively you can email your list or phone your order.
We will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect your plants from our nursery site, just outside the market town of Buckingham. Please note that we are usually only at the nursery during normal working weekdays (i.e. not weekends or Bank Holidays) so you will need to be able to collect then.
Please do not travel to the nursery until you have received confirmation that your order is ready to collect and we have agreed a time for collection.
The nursery is situated close to Stowe Landscape Gardens, Waddesdon Manor, Silverstone Racing Circuit and several other attractions, so why not plan a day out and collect your plants on the way home?
Collection From Plant Fairs
Each year we attend a number of shows and plant fairs and you are welcome to collect your order from one of these events at no charge.
Pre-order Plants
Orders which contain pre-order plants will be dispatched when all of the plants are available.

While we make every effort to keep the website up-to-date with plant availability, it is impossible for stock levels to be 100% accurate, especially during busy times. We sell plants online, at the nursery and at plant fairs etc, so our stock levels are constantly changing. Please feel free to email your wishlist to check availability. If an item is unavailable and you have not chosen to accept substitutes during the checkout process, we will refund the relevant amount for the unavailable plant(s).
* Orders requiring Royal Mail/Parcel Force delivery (such as Highland and Islands and some single-plant orders etc.), may have a longer dispatch lead time. The time stated is a guide and applies to the majority of current orders and is from the time payment is made.
