Plant Overview
Very low-growing mats of mossy foliage from which masses of small white flowers arise in summer. Excellent tolerance to drought.
Shallow rooted, this plant will grow on most soils, including dry sandy soil. Plant on rockeries, in containers or even in cracks between paving slabs.
Native to Europe from Iceland to the Mediterranean countries.
Can (apparently) also be grown as a house plant.
Height and Spread: 5cm x 25cm
Common name: Heath Pearlwort; Irish Moss; Scottish Moss
This plant may be supplied in either a 7cm or 9cm pot, depending on the time of year.
