Plant Overview

Beautiful crimson flowers from late spring to early summer. A perfect plant for a woodland garden, shady border or boggy area.

Happy in heavy, wet soil but will thrive in any spot providing it's not bone-dry. Leave seed pods on if you want to gain new plants.

Given the RHS Award for Garden Merit.

Height: 45cm

Primula japonica came from Japan in 1871 and has been bred from since.

All our plants are supplied in 9x10cm pots unless otherwise specified. Plants in this size pot establish quickly in the garden and often outpace plants in bigger pots planted at the same time. Our potted plants can be planted immediately, unless otherwise noted, or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant. We grow almost everything we sell ourselves, in our nursery in the Buckinghamshire countryside. Our prices include VAT at 20%.
