Plant Overview

A large primula with tall yellow candelabras of flowers held high above green foliage.

Likes a shady spot in damp soil and can take it very wet. Will self-seed if allowed.

Late flowering for a primula, in July and August.

Height: 60cm

Originates in South Eastern Tibet.

Common name(s): Candelabra primrose; Tibetan cowslip; Giant cowslip.
