Plant Overview
Probably our favourite mint. The leaves of this mint smell and taste strongly of lime (with a minty twist) and make a wonderful tea, or can be added to iced drinks. Also useful in fish and chicken dishes.
Spikes of attractive purple flowers in summer.
Height: 40cm
All flavoured mints smell first of mint, with the flavour being the secondary scent. The best example of this is mint chocolate, where you can taste both chocolate and mint.
Common name(s): Lime mint
