Spreading clumps of tidy foliage and spikes of clear mid-blue flowers all summer.
Moist soil preferred and will tolerate it quite wet. Good for pond edges but will cope with any soil which doesn't get too dry.
Named after the disease it was once used to treat. Introduced from North America in 1665.
