At this time of year we are starting to pot up in earnest. These plants are plugs which are either started from seed or softwood cuttings in autumn and are now ready to put into bigger pots. We hope for some mild weather now so these plants can really get going in the (unheated) polytunnels and be ready to sell in just a few weeks. 

In addition to potting up plugs, we also have many trays of seedlings and over-wintered cuttings, which will be potted directly into pots.

Although still early, having polytunnels allows us to get a head start and it is nice to be able to work under cover too!
