A lovely daisy with a thick white 'ruff' around a yellow centre. Flowers from early spring to early summer and often in autumn too.
Very drought tolerant but is equally happy in normal or damp soil.

Bellis - The name daisy was originally "Day's Eye" because the flower was the first to open in the morning. They were much used in Victorian cottage gardens, grown at the side of paths where their roots could enjoy the cool moist soil under the stones.
