Plant Overview

A herb worth growing in a pot near the kitchen door, or in the herb bed. The strap-like leaves have a mild garlic flavour which is nice in salads, with cheese and in soups etc.

Lovely white flowers on tall stems, from June to August, which are also edible.

Can also be grown indoors on a windowsill or conservatory.

Height and spread: 30cm x 25cm

Common name(s): Garlic Chives

All our plants are supplied in 9x10cm pots unless otherwise specified. Plants in this size pot establish quickly in the garden and often outpace plants in bigger pots planted at the same time. Our potted plants can be planted immediately, unless otherwise noted, or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant. We grow almost everything we sell ourselves, in our nursery in the Buckinghamshire countryside. Our prices include VAT at 20%.
