Plant Overview
Masses of greenish yellow flowers in early summer, with broad, slightly fluted, sage green leaves.
Excellent for edging a path or border, or as a stand-alone specimen. Also very good as ground cover in dry shade. Will self-seed if flower heads are left on.
Drought tolerant when established.
An excellent plant for our pollinators.
Awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit.
From Asia Minor in 1874 and once widely used to staunch bleeding.
