Plant Overview

Ideal ground cover for a shady area. Large, glossy, bronze-purple leaves with dense, upright spires of purple spring flowers. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Catlin's Giant is perfect for covering large areas since it has bigger leaves and is particularly vigorous. It copes well with sun and shade and poor soils, but does not like to dry out.

Goes well with Vinca and Pulmonaria.
