Plant Details

This tough perennial forms a spreading mat of deep-red succulent leaves. Clusters of tiny pinky-red flowers appear during summer.  Very drought tolerant.

Excellent for the edge of a border, rockery or to hang over a wall. Sedums are happiest in dry soil, in a sunny position. Can even be used as a grass substitute for a lawn.

Please note that the foliage darkens as the plant matures and young plants may be lighter when you received them.

Height and spread: 10cm x 45cm

Common name: Stonecrop

All our plants are supplied in 9x10cm pots unless otherwise specified. Plants in this size pot establish quickly in the garden and often outpace plants in bigger pots planted at the same time. We do not sell 'plug plants' because those need to be grown on before planting. Our potted plants can be planted immediately, unless otherwise noted, or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant. We grow everything we sell ourselves, in our nursery in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
