Very pretty coral pink flowers above neat spotted foliage.
Perfect for a dark, shady spot that doesn't get too dry.
A good source of early season food for bees and are very attractive to them.
Some names describe the former use as a cure for lung ailments, some the colour and shape of the flowers, some the spotting of the leaves and some the contrast of the pink/blue flowers. Used in cottage gardens for centuries and remains deservedly popular. They are not fussy about position, provided it is not too dry and there is some shade.
