A lovely mimulus that makes large clumps of hairy, sparsely-toothed, pale to mid-green leaves, above which open most unusually-coloured trumpet-shaped flowers. White to cream-coloured flowers are overlaid with a pink to purple flush, fading to cream at the edges, with the tongue spotted purple. Repeat flowers throughout the summer.
From the foothills of the Andean mountains in Chile.
Happy in sun or partial shade as long as the soil isn't too dry.
