A delightful plant from Argentina which is also found in Chile and Peru. Narrow leaves and copper coloured buds which open to strong orange-yellow flowers.
Flowers in summer, usually after a dry spell ends and the soil becomes moist again.
Drought tolerant when established. We have found it to be hardy provided the soil doesn't freeze solid. Could be planted in a container if you are worried.
Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
