Strongly scented lavender-pink fringed flowers above slender foliage.
Introduced in 1764 from Montpelier where it grows in arid grasslands, woodlands and heathlands.
We recommend planting it close to the house, or a path, where you will benefit from the very strong scent.
Syn: Dianthus Sternbergii.
