Plant Details

There is much debate about the true Cheddar Pink but this is the one we know under that name. A small British native pink which grows well in rockeries, containers or gravel gardens. Ours is at the front of raised bed and seems happy enough.

Due to these particular pinks being grown from seed, there may occasionally be some variation in the flower colour.

Height: 8cm

Common name(s): Cheddar Pink

Synonym: Dianthus caesius

All our plants are supplied established in pots. We do not sell 'plug plants' because those need to be grown on before planting. Our potted plants can be planted immediately, or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant. We grow everything we sell ourselves, in our nursery in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
