Plant Details

An unusual Dianthus. Compact and bushy with leaves that vary from green to almost black. Typically the foliage darkens from green as the plant matures. Clusters of dark maroon flowers that are so dark that they look black.

An easy plant, happy in most soils provided they are not too wet.

We do not sell 'plug plants' because those need to be grown on before planting. Our potted plants can be planted immediately, unless otherwise noted, or you can leave them in their pots until you are ready to plant. We grow everything we sell ourselves, in our nursery in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
