I grew this beautiful anemone for the first time last year and I'm pleased to have plants listed on the website now.
It's probably the nicest variety of our native wood anemone I know (other than the wild, white one of course). The deep blue flowers really stand out against the rich green foliage.
Anemones work well planted under shrubs and trees, but actually fare well in any shade - even the shade of a building.
Anemone nemorosa 'Royal Blue' flowers from early to late spring and is a useful early source of food for foraging bees.
