An old cultivar with pure white double button flowers from March to July. and sometimes later Very drought tolerant but is equally happy in normal or damp soil.

Bellis - The name daisy was originally "Day's Eye" because the flower was the first to open in the morning. They were much used in Victorian cottage gardens, grown at the side of paths where their roots could enjoy the cool moist soil under the stones.
