Similar to Abutilon vitifolium (3 metres), but suntense can grow up to 6 metres.
A soft-wood shrub from Chile with vine-like leaves. Vigorous and fast-growing, to 5-6m. Copious numbers of large, mauve flowers with prominent bosses of orange stamens, throughout the summer.
A fully hardy, unusual and vigorous shrub with somewhat downy, vine-shaped leaves and bearing with some abundance exotic-looking, saucer-shaped flowers in an attractive shade of mauve.
Benefits from some shelter against cold winds, so against a warm wall or fence is ideal.
